713Walks: Houston Theater District
Movement • Art • Nature • Culture • Community
713Walks invites you to explore the vibrant heart of Houston’s performing arts scene with a 3-mile walking experience through the iconic Houston Theater District. This journey celebrates the rich culture, stunning architecture, and dynamic energy that make this district a cornerstone of Houston’s artistic identity.
Stroll past world-renowned venues like the Wortham Theater Center, Alley Theatre, and Jones Hall, while uncovering hidden art installations and learning about the district’s history and impact on the city’s cultural landscape. Along the way, discover local businesses that contribute to the neighborhood’s unique character.
Each 713Walks event is designed to connect participants with the community and inspire a deeper appreciation for Houston’s cultural treasures. Last year, approximately 50 participants joined us on each walk, experiencing the city in a whole new way.
713Walks continues to bring people together to celebrate the beauty and creativity of Houston’s 7 Cultural Arts Districts.
Join us in Houston Theater District and keep taking the next step with Urban Paths.
The experience includes:
Refreshments from a local cafe/coffee shop.
A sidewalk performance or chat from a local artist or musician.
Water for all participants in an aluminum bottle from HOW Water.
A Spanish language interpreter.
The profound health benefits of a 3-mile walk exploring beauty and connecting with others!
